Nottingham Contemporary is one of the largest contemporary art centres in the UK. It has four galleries – a performance and film Space, a Learning room, The Study, The Shop and Café.Bar.Contemporary. In Dialogue forms part of the Public Programme at Nottingham Contemporary, ‘which is a platform for the research and critical debate of ideas and practices that are relevant to the Exhibitions that take place here and to contemporary art and its institutions more broadly.’

Nottingham Contemporary is right next to the Lace Market Tram Stop, five minutes walk from Nottingham Railway Station and the Green NCT bus routes.

New Art Exchange (NAE) is a contemporary arts space in Nottingham that celebrates the region’s cultural richness and diversity. It is the largest gallery in the UK dedicated to culturally diverse contemporary visual arts. The venue presents an ever-changing programme of art exhibitions, creative activities for families and young people, film screenings, symposiums, lectures, festivals and a live performance programme of music, dance and theatre.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

The easiest way to get to NAE from Nottingham city centre is by tram. NAE is located opposite The Forest tram stop. Trams depart every 7-8 mins from Nottingham train station and market square, and it takes approximately 10 minutes.

NAE can also be reached by bus services (78, 79, 80, 81 & L12).

PARKING

The Forest Recreation ground (Forest Park and Ride) has a sizable car park for visitors using the park and ride. We have parking spaces available for people with disabilities at the rear of the building, just off Noel Street.
