ACCOMMODATION

We recommend that you stay in DERBY on Tuesday 19th and NOTTINGHAM on Weds 20th and Thursday 21st November.

TRAVEL BETWEEN CITIES for INDIALOGUE PARTICIPANTS

There will be a complementary InDialogue bus (with interventions) from Derby City Centre to Lincoln at 9am on Wednesday morning.

The bus will pick up participants from Lincoln at 18.00 and take delegates to Nottingham.

There will be performance evenings on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and an optional evening Meal on Wednesday. 

GENERAL SITES FOR BOOKING ACCOMMODATION

 We have not booked a conference hotel but recommend that you use the following sites to source your accommodation.

We can also put you in touch with other delegates should you find somewhere to share.

DERBY

TRAVEL 

DERBY THEATRE—DE1 2NF 

BY CAR (use DE1 2NL for satnav) From the M1 Leave the M1 at Junction 25 and go West on Brian Clough Way (A52) for 6.7 miles. At the Pentagon roundabout, take the 2nd exit, then bear left onto Eastgate. On Eastgate, keep in the right lane but do not turn off, crossing two sets of traffic lights onto Traffic Street. On Traffic Street, keep right and then turn right at a sign for Derby Theatre and the Intu Basement car park. Immediately cross the yellow hatch to the right and enter the theatre car park. Stage Door is around the right hand side of the building from the car park entrance. 

Driving: from the M1 

From the M6 Leave the M6 at Junction 15 and go East on Queensway (A500). After almost 2 miles, take the A50 ramp then keep right at the fork (signs for Fenton and Trentham). At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto the A50 and follow the A50 for almost 20 miles. Leave the A50 at a ramp signed for Etwall/Hilton/Hatton and take the second exit from the roundabout onto Derby Rd (A516). Stay on the A516 towards M1 South/ Derby/Nottingham. Take the 2nd exit at a large roundabout onto Uttoxeter New Road (A516), then contin- ue to another roundabout and take the 3rd exit onto Mercian Way (A601). Follow the A601 through three more roundabouts onto Traffic Street. On Traffic Street, turn left at a sign for Derby Theatre and the Intu 

Basement car park. Immediately cross the yellow hatch to the right and en- ter the theatre car park. Stage Door is around the right hand side of the building from the car park entrance. 

TRAIN Walking from Derby Train Station. Turn right out of the train station, cross Railway Terrace and then turn left on Midland Place. At the top of Midland Place, bear left and then right on Park Street. Cross Canal Street and continue on John Street, then bear right a little onto Liversage Street. Continue until you reach Traffic Street (A601), then cross Traffic Street at the pedestrian crossing and turn right. Turn left when you reach a sign for Derby Theatre and the Intu Basement car park; bear right into the theatre car park. Stage Door is around the right hand side of the building from the car park entrance.

BUS Walking from Derby Bus Station. Turn left on Morledge. Walk to where Morledge meets Traffic Street (A601) and turn right. From here, it is a short walk to stage door, go round the top of the grass verge on the right and enter the car park. Stage Door is around the right hand side of the building from the car park entrance. 

PLANE East Midlands Airport The Airport is approximately 25 minutes’ drive from Derby Theatre. For directions, leave the Airport on Ashby Rd (A453) and follow signs to the M1. Take the M1 North, exit junction 25 and follow driving directions from the M1 above.
